Top Interstate 81 Reckless Driving Lawyer: Daniel Wallace is a Scottish Swimmer who was on Great Britain’s Olympic Team in the 2016 Summer Olympics.  In the 2014 Commonwealth Games, Wallace won the 400 meter individual medley.  He was on the team that won gold in the 2015 FINA Aquatics Championship’s 4 x 200 meters freestyle relay team.  Wallace got a silver in the 2016 Summer Olympics for that relay race.  Wallace hails from Edinburgh, Scotland and was trained by Laurel Bailey at the Warrender Baths Club.  Wallace got an athletic scholarship to swim for the University of Florida.  Wallace was on the University’s NCAA National Championship 4 x 200 yard freestyle relay in 2013.  Wallace was second in the NCAA 500 yard freestyle in both 2014 and 2015.  Wallace was All-American twelve times.

Top Interstate 81 Reckless Driving Lawyer:  Wallace had been in the news after the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow for yelling, “For Freedom” after winning the relay.  Wallace backed away from supporting the Scottish Independence Referendum by claiming that he was merely stating a line from the movie Braveheart.  Wallace recently entered a guilty plea to DUI.  In addition to any legal penalties, Wallace was suspended from all national swimming programs until September 12, 2017.  Apparently a DUI conviction breaks the athlete code of conduct.  This suspension will keep Wallace from attending July’s World Championship in Budapest.  Wallace released a statement to the press saying,

“It is with much regret that I was found to be driving under the influence of alcohol.  Not only have I let myself, my family and team-mates down, I have put others at risk and I am profoundly sorry for my actions. I recognise that I am in a position of influence and this type of behaviour is not acceptable in any way, shape or form….”

In his first season with the Bills, Williams rushed for almost one hundred yards and one touchdown.

Beat Interstate 81 reckless driving: In July of 2016, Williams was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated or DWI in Fayetteville, Arkansas.  Williams refused to provide an on the side of the road breath test in a preliminary breath tester (PBT) and was arrested.  The other evidence of DUI was a strong smell of an alcoholic beverage and red eyes.  Williams admitted to one beer the night before.  Williams did the right thing in refusing to help the police arrest and convict him for drunk driving.  The roadside agility tests have nothing to do with determining whether one can function normally.  Instead, they are designed to place one in abnormal positions performing abnormal tasks.  Most people look ridiculous trying these balancing tests which is then assumed to prove they cannot function normally.  Any test looking for normal function ought to be comprised of tasks requiring normal function.  Download our FREE App to keep a Virginia DUI Lawyer handy — www.KeeferApp.com.

Best I81 Traffic Lawyer: In early June, 2017, Derek Fisher, a retired NBA Los Angeles Lakers‘ player and former New York Knicks’ head coach, was involved in a traffic crash in Los Angeles.  Fisher was driving; his passenger was Gloria Govan, a star on the television reality show, Basketball Wives.  According to the California Highway Patrol, Fisher drove his 2015 Cadillac off the highway onto the shoulder hitting a curb and the guardrail.  The Caddy turned over onto its roof.  Fisher was arrested because he smelled of an alcoholic beverage and because he admitted to drinking before driving.  The fact that both Fisher and Govan were uninjured will not prevent Fisher from getting charged with driving under the influence.  Although shaken by the crash, Fisher probably attempted the roadside gymnastics and bootleg eye exam police use to establish probable cause to arrest for DUI.  Unfortunately Fisher did not have access to Bob’s FREE App on dealing with the police.

Best I81 Traffic Lawyer:  Derek Fisher played professional basketball for eighteen seasons in the NBA, mostly with the Lakers.  Fisher acquired five NBA Championships during his tenure with the Lakers.  Fisher was chosen with the 24th pick in the 1996 NBA draft.  He won his first three championships with Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal coached by Phil Jackson.  He won his last two championships with Bryant and JacksonFisher has the NBA record for most playoff games played.  Fisher’s 0.4 second buzzer beating shot to win Game Five of the 2004 Western Conference Semis against the San Antonio Spurs is ranked the eighteenth greatest playoff highlight ever.
